    talk to a pharmacist at your grocery store. they are specifically trained in medicinal ingredients, and might be able to help you out with recommendations for over the counter stuff.you might also try to go to a holistic health food store. they focus more on finding out the root problem and treating it, instead of just masking the symptoms like pharmaceutical chemicals do.i get headaches rarely, but when i do i find that mine are usually caused by dehydration. i can cure mine with a few glasses of water and a little time. i know most people arent so lucky… but perhaps trying to stay more hydrated when you feel a headache coming on wont hurt.
