It can be a huge factor in causing chest discomfort, but I think that you should continue your smoking cessation plans. Make sure that you take a really good multivitamin daily. You may want to buy a decongestant like ZyrtecD and a cough expectorant like Mucinex to help clear out the congestion. Increase your fluid intake of juices and noncarbonated beverages. Turn the purifiers up a little higher to impart more fluid into your mucus membranes. And whatever you do, quit smoking! I hope that this will enforce the necessity for you to quit, congrats on a very brave decision, Im sure that youll do great without cigarettes (just think of all the money youll be saving)!I hope you feel better soon, good luck and God bless.
