Hi Chikim,Have you got a lot of worry at the moment?? Sometimes this can happen as a result of not being fully focused on what you are saying because you are thinking about something else all the time.It happens an awful lot to menopausal women but that is obviously not the reason in your case!!Another reason it can happen is when people are suddenly finding themselves alone for long periods and are not having a lot of human interaction. For example when someone has lost their job. They are so used to chatting and making conversation all the time and suddenly their brain is not needing to be so alert. The brain needs to be kept active. It is just a muscle and needs exercise. One way to help is to try things like crossword puzzles, or anything that keeps your brain working. Find something that interests you in a book or newspaper and line by line try to memorise it as though you were learning a speech or a script. The other thing of course is are you on any medication?? if so have you read the side effects?? Your brain needs stimulation by whatever means you would find most interesting to you.could you perhaps do an evening class or an online course?? The problem is that i dont know you or anything about you so it is hard for me to come up with things that would suit you.I do fully understand what it feels like though. you can be talking to someone and get right into the middle of a sentence and get total word blindness. you know what you mean but you just cant think of the word. Or you start talking and completely lose your thread and wonder why you started saying what you did because you cant remember what it was that you were leading up to.It actually isnt that uncommon. you would be surprised at just how many young people suffer from exactly the same thing. If I havent hit on a probable cause for your reason for going through this it might be worth having a word with your GP and say how it is affecting your life. there might well be something he/she can do to help you.I do wish you well sweetheart because I know what it feels like and the frustration it causes.Love mel.X
