What is stage 2 Alzheimers?

Stage 2 in Alzheimer’s disease is when a person experiences a very mild cognitive decline. This includes: memory lapses of forgetting names, recent events, familiar words and the location of everyday objects. This stage of Alzheimer’s usually isn’t detected in a person. ! Any comments?

    I lost my mum to Alzheimers in May of this year. She had been living on her own, but contracted the disease 6 or 7 years previously ( I lost my father 25 years ago. My brother attempted to care for her but she became incontinent and took to wandering off, so she was placed in a care home. She did not seem to be aware of who we were. lost the power of speech, apart from the odd word, and eventually could not move or feed herself. At the end, she was taken to hospital, where she seemed to gradually just shut down.Hope this helps
