    addiction is a funny thing . there is phycological addiction and there is physical addiction. i think when it comes to heroin psycological addication could come with the first hit, but physical addiction would come after at least three consecutive days of use. most people who use heroin can function in society for a week or maybe even years. sooner or later heroin will take over your life though. it is extremely addictive. i have never used heroin but i have taken opiate pain killers for recreational purposes. from that expeirience i was able to see the addictive properties of opiats.
