What does a low grade fever mean?

A continuous or fluctuating low fever, typically defined as never exceeding 38.5 degrees Celsius (about 101 degrees Fahrenheit). Is this what you mean?? Any comments?

    Here in the UK a temperature is measured in Centigrade, the normal being 37*c. If the temp goes from this, up to 37.5*c then this would be classed as a low
