    It could be many things here are a couple I thought of. Taste buds present on the back of your tongue can become inflamed and painful, you could also have warts. Do you have a fever or swollen lymph nodes??…if so it would indicate an infectious process such as tonsillitis, mono, or even strep throat. If it doesnt clear up or you should start feeling unwell I suggest you go see the doc.

    White stuff on my tongue. And 3 fairly large bumps breath, because my breath has been at the back? What is this? I think its causing bad bad for last couple of weeks :S I star

    Bumps on a tongue being a result of lying is an old wives' tale, but they are real, nonetheless, and can be painful. If it is a recurring problem, pay attention to what you eat and when the bumps occur most likely will have to run its course before the bumps will disappear.     i have larger bumps on my tounge and i got it 3 days ago when i woke up and i hurts to swollow but i didn’t see the bumps until yesterday but friday and saturday were just a soore throat and i don’t know what to do i haven’t ate beakfast or anything its hard to eat hard foods
