I have the same exact problem!I hiccup at least 40 times a day to the point where people around me get beyond annoyed. So I went to the doctor and it didnt help at all, people will say that we either drink too fast or eat too fast which I know in my case that I dont, in fact I eat slow and I drink slowly. What I recommend is you taking pills to relax your stomach muscles or prilosec (its a pill), i know that probably sounds strange but sometimes our stomachs produce too much acid which causes them to become irritated and the diaphragm releases the irritation by hiccuping. I did this for 2 weeks and I noticed that I barley hiccuped as much as I normally would without the medicine and finally then with time it goes away!give it a try its not bad for you so it wont cause you any harm, if that doesnt work then maybe go see a doctor, my doctor trip wasnt successful but I think its because he was an idiot.Good Luck!
