Can a pregnant woman have contractions in her back?

Yes, a pregnant woman can have contractions in her back. These contractions are commonly referred to as Back Labor. Back labor has been said to occur in 25% of all labors and births. There are many ways to assist the mother in managing the pain brought on in back labor, such as deep massage, water births, and using a birthing ball. Thanks for asking ! Any comments?

    Why should a lady lie on her left side when having contractions? It is not just when having contractions, it is in late pregnancy, and it doesn't happen to right side of the spine and if the woman lays on her back the heavy uterus compresses

    Just tell her to go outside on the grass. Maybe give her a tent or whatever. Vamanos! Definitely dont pay her though and start those 2 weeks off now. Since you will have to order out tonight I think you should take that out of her pay. It is her fault after all.
