    My pharmacist told me that one CAN take Aleve and Tylenol together because they are different preparations, and they CAN work synergistically to (1) reduce inflammation [Aleve] and (2) relieve pain [Tylenol]. This combination is the only treatment that used to help my daughter with severe menstrual pains.What you CANT do is combine Aleve with aspirin-type or other types of ibuprofen medications. Tylenol is different. Follow the label directions on BOTH products.

    It is safe to mix these two drugs in moderation because Aleve is Naproxen while Tylenol is Acetaminophen. This makes it so there is no overdose of one drug.
