Is mixing naproxen and ibuprofen bad?

It could be bad to mix naproxen with ibuprofen. Both are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Consult your pharmacist. ! Any comments?

    it is ok to take both in one day, just make sure you eat before you take them. Ibuprofen can be hard on your stomach because it causes ulcers. There are way better NSAIDs that do not harm your stomach. Call your orthopedic doctor and ask for a prescription for Selective Cox 2 inhibitors. They dont do any damage to your stomach and work way better. (they are also in the group of NSAIDs). Ask your doctor about Meloxicam (Mobic). Just so you know, Ibuprofen is a Cox 1 and Cox 2 inhibitor. Inhibiting Cox 1 causes stomach ulcers, inhibiting Cox 2 relieves pain and inflammation. Mobic is only a Cox 2 inhibitor , its a great anti-inflammatory and analgesic, and is also very cheap.
